Nice and sturdy and looks beautiful

So I ordered two of these cabinets for my living room, my son put them together and he has a hard time because a few of the pieces were either packed wrong or not fabricated the right way. The drawers stick, and the doors don't shut completely.

These are beautiful - but the instructions are a bit of a challenge. If you are clumsy like my partner, maybe have someone else handle opening the packages with screws and such, because they give you basically NO extras of anything.

Some of the joints are a little tight, but the overall look of the piece is stunning.

First I would not have considered this unit if the listing did not say, " Wood Bookshelf Display Cabinet ". The listing is wrong, unless you consider Pressed Board, which is an engineered wood product manufactured from wood chips and a synthetic resin. I orderd the item not knowing this, I re-read the entire listing, then I realized what I was getting. It arrived earlier by days. I put it together today and I was astonished, the wood does not look like pressed board. The bottom, top and two middle shelves appear to be wood, the doors also appear to be wood, ( I mean actual wood not pressed board). I did not scrape the finish to find out. Each piece was finished all the way around, this surprised me too. It was one of the eaisest cabinet/bookcase I ever put together. I installed all the small parts to the wood first, then I assembled the bookcase. They allowed one extra piece of hardware for each type. The back was not a nail on but a screew in, so it took a little longer than expected. The hinges on the door are european , easy to install and very easy to adjust. I really do not care for the metal legs, they look cheep, but nothing is ever100% the way you want it. It did take 3.5 hours to put together this was partly because the back was screwed in, but before you screwed the back down you had to drill holes in the wood. The cardboard back had holes. but the wood did not. The legs are also put on by allen screws/wrench, and it was hard to do with big hands because you have to put your hand inside the legs to tighted the screws. I am not an expert, I have put together a lot of pressed wood furnature together in my long life, so it might be easy for you or not so easy. Overall an excellent product, with a reasonable price. I give it 5* something I almost never do. I recommed the product.
