Live the extra shelf on the bottom. Gives the umbrella some extra support.

It was exactly what i was looking for had a small table top firepit that needed a hole in the middle worked out wonderful, size -height- and open with bottom shelf

If using with an umbrella be sure to measure the outside diameter of the tube attached to your base. It will be larger than your umbrella pole. I had to make alterations to the lower shelf because I didn't measure that piece. In the end it has worked out but I had to cut into the lower shelf.

A little pricey but no more than others that are similar. Nice quality super simple assembly. Yes I put a weighted umbrella dish underneath and it fit great. Super sturdy but time will tell
