Worked well for me. An effort to assemble, but quite satisfied with the purchase.

The assembly was definitely hard if you¡¯re doing it by yourself. Unfortunately my partner works out of town a lot so I had no choice. The directions can be confusing because some of the pieces are not labeled/numbered. Also, when you¡¯re in the middle stages of the assembly, you think you¡¯re doing it all wrong because the island leans (as shown in one of the pics I listed). Make sure to lean it up against something sturdy until you are able to flip it over. Other than that, it does look as it does in the photo. Very heavy and decent quality.

Again, pardon the mess! We are working on a home office conversion. This piece functions a little differently than I had expected. Basically the table top itself folds in half! So once you pull it out, it seems too long and unsupported on one side, but you have to shift the table top to the center of the base if you¡¯re using it as a full size table! It is on a track so it will not slide off, but only one side of the leaf is then supported by brackets. I plan to use this as a deskcrafting station, not as a dining table. I would suspect that this dining table would work great in a small space for adults. I am not sure how confident I would be in the table top if I had small children that like to climb on things! ?
