The kennel is lovely, easy to put together, nicely mounted metal grate with no exposed edges, and plenty of space for a medium sized pet. I personally bought this as a hideout for my pet Bunny.;The majority of the assembly went smoothly (even with a loose rabbit underfoot), the instructions are easy to follow and I appreciate the 2 spare screws and mounts. The only trouble I ran into was the doorframe, the 4 panels of the frame are connected only loosely by the wooden pegs and then wedged down into place. For this I recommend having an extra pair of hands to keep all 4 peices together as you line up and slide it down, the top and bottom panels like to turn sideways if you are not holding them.;After the doorframe is installed you have to crawl inside to lock in the upper screws and install the brackets, which is uncomfortable with the lower part of the doorframe digging into your back. Probably would have been easier to assemble it on a kitchen table, but you still put at least your shoulders through the doors. If you have kids, put them to work with this. Otherwise, grab a cushion.;Overall I love it now that it's done, looks great for a dog, big enough to fit a litter box if you have a cat, and my Bunny enjoys having a place to chill. (My rabbit is freeroam and this is not being used as his enclosure. Only as a hideout that blends well with my other furniture. Rabbits enjoy dark quiet spaces so most of the bottom levels of my bookcases are devoted to him. This corner kennel will have a corner bookcase installed on top of it.)
